Patton vs. Plane

I wish I could find a source for this, but one time during WWII, a Luftwaffe plane was flying overhead while Patton and his command were on an inspection.  Everyone else hit the deck;  Patton grabbed his guns and emptied them at the plane.  He didn't hit it, as some things are so manly that they would end the world then and there in a testosterone detonation.  But hey, he was so batshit hardcore that he had to try.
